“The world’s people all share the earnest aspiration to have peace,
stability, justice and cooperation.” … Jalal ad-Din Rumi
On Sunday, July 25 at 8:36pm CST, we have a gorgeous full moon in Aquarius. Because the Moon is positioned on the opposite side of the Sun with the Earth inbetween, the moon shares the polarity of Leo. Where the Leo archetype is benevolent, creative, charismatic, and dazzles the world with his warmth and radiance; Aquarius is the genius and inventor, the visionary, and change-agent leading us toward a greater vision. Leo needs Aquarius as much as Aquarius needs Leo in order to bring creative fulfillment to the genius vision. Imbalance occurs when we try to force either sign to do the job of both.
The Sun as Leo’s ruler falls 3 degrees Leo; and accordingly, the Sabian Symbol for this degree represents a mature, independent, yet youthful, fruitful, generous, and wise woman. With Leo as her cheerleader, radiating his warm spirit and benevolence, he uplifts women (or the wise female qualities within us all); and urges us all to remember and reclaim our unique gifts, leverage this power, and realign ourselves upon our important life journeys. If any of us have been feeling a bit scattered in terms of our visionary path that asks us to excel with our gifts while contributing to the whole, this full moon will help bridge us back to this path. The tension of this waning Saturn-Uranus opposition will compel us to restore our confidence with our relationships, and thus the whole; while letting go of the old and charge forth with new beginnings.
Those who might feel trapped by this full moon are merely clinging to the past and the way things have been, letting go of the past and giving yourself full permission to change in your own unique and gifted way will feel the blessings and encouragement by this full moon. Being the visionary and genius that Aquarius is, the emotional quality of the full moon makes it easier to reach for the future, reach for more hope in humanity, and access the innovation to serve us all.
List at least five instances recently where you have embraced your inner knowing and stepped forward into the unknown for your own good and magically others have benefited from your breath of fresh air. Go there and shed light and appreciation for all you have been, everywhere you are going, and take the next step. You are nurtured beyond belief.
“If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.”
